So needed to start with fuel , I tried one other brand thinking they will be nice but forgot how bad gels are to taste and tummy wise .
Then I thought I've used chia charge before flapjacks years years ago .. so I ordered a sample box . And they didn't disappoint , so easy to eat and taste so good . And the best thing seems to not give tummy issues the chews . I also tried the drink oats they started my training run off a treat . So will definitely be ordering more . I absolutely love these chews and don’t do a long run without them!!! All three flavours are lovely, not too sweet or sickly. I haven’t got bored of them yet and I’ve eaten hundreds! They don’t need too much chewing so great when running, they’re also not heavy on your stomach, so haven’t caused me any problems. But they’re also great for an energy boost.

I used these as part of my food regime on the summer spine race. They are so easy to eat! A mouthful of water after eating was needed, I was a little dehydrated.
Soon after, 5/6 mins, I could feel them kicking in.

I used the chia chews recently in my 40mile ultra from Keswick to Barrow in the Lake District. They’re easy to eat while running, had a lovely texture and not too strong a flavour. I like them as an alternative to gels and when I can’t face real food later in a long race. They definitely keep me fuelled and helped me gain 2nd position in my race!!

I ran a 10 mile race last Sunday with a 4km warm up run beforehand to get a lift to the start. These little squares of energy served me well at 4km, 8km and 12km during the race. Fitted nicely into my back pocket and very easy to digest. My favourite energy supplement for future races now!

I absolutely love these on long runs!! So much nicer than endless gels, they are a great alternative. Easy to chew (almost melt in mouth) and the flavour isn’t too strong. I have a very delicate stomach when running and don’t have any problems with these. They also seem to keep energy levels up pretty well when used with a mix of other nutrition on very long outings!!

These things sit in my vest pocket, get carried about n forgotten about by me at times, but not today. I deliberately put them in reach t use and did. Easy t chew n digest with a good hint of flavour. I had all three during my run today (10 miles,) roughly 20- 30 mins(ish) intervals just t give me a boost. Think they worked as I got back thinking I could go another few miles, but didn’t. Plus, I didn’t feel hungry going along on a slow trot out. Yes, good them.

Just two chews were enough to get me round the Conwy 2024 Half Marathon for a lifetime personal best over that distance! I love the mint chews. Love both flavours, the fact theint one is not in your face minty helps with the want to take and consume them on a.long run. I feel these and the other snacks I took out with me today on an attempted half marathon worked well, just a shame my ITB flaired up at mile 9 and led toe.just managing 10 miles (I will be back for this training run and go the distance )
