We make an effort to ensure that our packaging and delivery systems are as environmentally friendly as possible.

Reducing plastic waste

The latest progress we have made in these efforts includes our exciting new work with Terracycle who convert previously non-recyclable waste into raw materials which can be used in new products!

"Terracycle is eliminating the idea of waste by recycling the "non-recycleable" [...] With your help, we are able to divert millions of pounds of waste from landfills and incinerators each month."

How it works:

1. Collect your used Chia Charge wrappers

2. Make sure you have at least 20 (and that there are only Chia Charge wrappers in there - please don't send us old crisp packets)

3. Post them for free using the freepost label below (or just write "Freepost Chia Charge" on your envelope)

Reusing boxes

We reuse our red boxes wherever possible and appropriate. This means that we generate less unnecessary waste and reduces our consumption of packing boxes. We also use old unusable packing materials such as old boxes and the backs of our sticky labels to fill out our boxes, this means that we don't use bubble wrap and is another way in which we reduce our consumption.

Recycling delivery packaging

All of the orders that we deliver by DPD are packed in DPD's bags which are made from 80% recycled material and are 100% recyclable. So don't forget to recycle the bag that your order comes in!
